WHAT IS bench unlock?
Most of the ECUs of BMW cars manufactured after are locked for OBD tuning. Since MHD and BM3 are installed through the OBD port, it is necessary to unlock the computer on Bench for OBD tuning.
What is the procedure?
We check whether the ECU is locked or not.
If it turns out that it is locked, we take it out and unlock it.
We install it back on the car and proceed to tuning.
We are now unlocking ECUs manufactured after 06.2020 locally, without shipping them to FEMTO.
