WHAT IS bench unlock?
Most of the ECUs of BMW cars manufactured between 2018 and 2020 are locked for OBD tuning. Since MHD and BM3 are installed through the OBD port, it is necessary to unlock the computer on Bench for OBD tuning.
What is the procedure?
We check whether the ECU can be unlocked with us or whether it needs to be sent to FEMTO.
If it turns out that it can be unlocked with us, we take out the ECU and unlock it.
We install it back on the car and proceed to tuning.
